The Lord’s Watch
This web page is designed as a link between the watchman / intercessor and the prophetic. As we watch, pray, hear and see what is occurring in our midst and then post it, we will be working in unity and strengthened in our gifting.
It is a NEW day, and we are the NEW wine skin. Let us use technology for the GLORY of the LORD. You are a unique individual with a unique schedule. It is therefore difficult at times for us to come together corporately. Let this web page be our Herrnhut (”the Lord’s watch”).
The following is a case study to inspire us; Herrnhut is a small village in what was formerly East Germany. The greatest revival in modern history was begun in Herrnhut by Count Nicholas Von Zinzindorf. In 1727 a group of Moravians was fleeing persecution in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Germany. Count Zinzindorf allowed them to settle on his estate. They came and built a village they called Herrnhut, “the Lord’s watch”. Early in their history, one of their prophets, Malchoir Schafer, gave a prophetic word, “God will place a light oh these hills that will illumine the whole world”. Here is a group of three hundred people in a Little village. They are refugees, having been kicked out of their own country. They are living in an obscure place in a backwater corner of Germany, and they receive a prophecy that God will do something there that will affect the whole world. On August 13, 1727, they went to a nearby village of Bertlesdorf to meet together in the Lutheran Church for a communion service. Count Zinzindorf got up to lead the service and got partway through when the Spirit of God fell. No one who was there ever gave a detailed description of what happened. They just said the fire of God fell, there were signs and wonders and miracles, and they were never the same again. The next week they said, “How do we keep this going? God’s presence is here with us. How do we keep it?” They turned to their bibles and found instruction in Exodus 29, God gave instructions on how to live in His presence. “If you keep the fire burning on the alter, I will dwell with you.” They divided the clock into watches and took turns praying 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! They continued in these prayer watches for the next 120 years. The result was that the glory of God rested in their midst. The Spirit of God began to send them out as missionaries. From this tiny village in Germany, missionaries went all over the world. It was said that they averaged sending one missionary for every 60 people in their body. They went to Greenland,North America, South America, South Africa, among Australian Aborigines, England and Tibet. On a personal note, Moravian missionaries founded the Oaks Mission among the Cherokee here in Oklahoma. These missionaries actually walked the Trail of Tears with the Cherokee people. Missionaries from Herrnhut literally changed the world.
For thus has the Lord said to me: “Go set a watchman, let him declare what he sees.”…
I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime; I have sat at my post every night… That which I have heard from the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, I have declared to you (Isaiah 21: 6-10).
“What are you seeing and hearing?”

December 2010. I dreamed many of us were in what appeared to be the Newsong building. It was dark (like we keep it on Friday night worship). We were singing and I was dancing. I picked up two flags and began to strike them in a warfare motion. Suddenly I saw a flamming bush type thing burning up on the ceiling. It looked something between a menorah and a bush. I heard a voice shout “The Lord is here!” Everyone looked up to see. I then began to notice that everyone there could see in the spirit. Then I looked and saw bubbles of oil covering the ceiling. Each one had a heavy drop of oil inside that looked like it was about to fall. I heard a voice say “the Holy Spirit is here”. Then I saw big X’s of oil being marked on each person. They were dripping with oil. I heard a voice say, “He’s marking us with the Holy Spirit.” Then I looked up and saw a large Eagle fly from one end of the sanctuary to the other. It had alternating red and white feathers striped across it. Then I heard a voice cry , “God himself is here.”
