In 2005 we felt like the Lord was calling us as a church body to help be a part of the solution to the orphan epidemic that was happening in Africa due to the AIDS virus. In 2006 we went to Mufulira, Zambia where the Lord led us to open Green Forest School & Children's Home. GFSO was opened in 2012 and has become home to 8 children in that area that have become orphaned. This is huge area of need and there are so many more children that need help. We are called and committed to this crisis in Zambia. In that time frame we have made several trips to Zambia for this effort. Ministry opportunities are there now for us to care for and teach children.
